Really quiet! We like the third rack

Stopped working after less than 2 years

This dishwasher stopped working less than 2 years after we bought it. The repair man said it's the electronics which are in the door so we need a new door. That will cost over $500 plus labor! Dishwashers should last longer than this! So far haven't been able to reach anyone at Kitchenaid to help with this.

Low Quality and Poor Design GARBAGE

This was not inexpensive unit. So paying more does not assure better quality. From the start problems. First they delivered a damaged unit. Then when they replaced, weeks later , some sensor underneath would fill with water and turn everything off. We had a tech come (eventually) to fix it . He drained it but said " these are really poorly designed, it will happen again". When it does, here is what to do". We should have returned it then. Bad move not to. Love it and beware.

We love our KA dishwasher. It is doing a great job on the dishes; do to the confusion of searching for the model number we wanted but being shown another model that looked the same, but spouse ended up purchasing the wrong model with a completely different top tray. Lowes also has some issues right now securing installers. My Spouse is happy, and upon further research we learned the model we wanted would have been $300 more even online.

Use Ribse Aid

Cleans well and very quiet. The metal dishwasher door and other plastic items were wet after first two times I used it using both dry selections) spoke with customer service who suggested using a rinse aid and it’s drying better

Solid dishwasher

So far the dishwasher is performing admirably doing a great job cleaning the dishes and, as one would expect with a 39 DB rating it’s super quiet. We had to put our ears up to it to make sure it was running! The company that did the installation (CRST Home Solutions) was horrible to deal with. They were a no show the day they were scheduled to install and didn’t bother to tell us. Calling them is brutal as hold times are very bad and no one seems to know anything.
