Great looks and functionality.

Bought this stove to replace a Kitchenaid Superba ceran top. We love the looks of the stove and the functionality but like other reviewers be fan is a little bothersome and could have been designed better.

Disappointed with NOISY KA

Purchased KESS907SSS Range, KFIS29PBMS Refrig, and KDTE334DSS dishwasher for high end, new construction. Review is based off of 2 years of ownership. Takes a long time to preheat oven

I bought this model because i have s narrow kitchen counter and kitchen and needed a range that doesn't protrude out. Newer models have 2-3 inches more depth and didn't work for me. Cooking top is ok, no complaints, hence the 3 stars. But the oven takes 20 min to preheat, that's 4 times longer than the whirlpool I had before this, very frustrated by that. Won't recommend kitchenaid, seems like their product design team doesn't get it.

High pitched whine

The very first time I turned the oven on there was a high-pitched whine. The service tech told me this noise was "normal" for Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool. The noise is very irritating and very loud. The noise comes from a cooling fan that cools the electronics. Although the range looks beautiful, it has been poorly engineered. Do not buy.

Nice looking

I used the oven for the first time tonight. There was such a loud humming noise while preheating and baking that my family left the kitchen. I hope this is a defect with my oven or I will be returning to store where I purchased. Very disappointed. I purchased a kitchen aid because I had my previous kitchen aid stove for twenty years and was still working with never a repair.

Love it

I am an amateur baker, and everything has been going great with this oven. It is still fairly new so it smells a little like plastic when it is on, but I know that that's temporal but delicious cookies are forever.

Giving Thanks for Holidays with KitchenAid Range

I am still giving thanks for the quick delivery of my new Kitchenaid range just in time for me to host a huge Thanksgiving celebration at our house. I love my new Kitchenaid range so much that I have given her a name. She cooked our turkey and the other casseroles, etc. to perfection. I am looking forward to another successful Thanksgiving celebration here this year.

Very load fan noise

The Whirlpool/KitchenAid slide in ranges have a design flaw and make a very load irritating fan noise (high pitch whine). Our dog howled at first and guests think a car burglar alarm is going off. We bought it for our new home and moved in May 2015. Our fan was replaced and the noise did not change. It is amazing that they keep selling these models with all the noise complaints. Kitchen Aid rep told our dealer that there is nothing wrong and the customer just has to live with it. WOW, wh...

Great stove

So far, we love the stove. We have had several glass top stoves and never have we had one which cleans so easily. The options for convection conversion are great. The only complaint I have is the noise of the fan when the oven is on. Wish it would run only when cooking on convection and not on regular oven use.

Sleek and Efficient

I bought it a month ago as we were remodeling our kitchen. It not only looks beautiful, sleek and modern, but it is very efficient and heats up quickly. I was not sure about a warming tray and that is what I have used the most as I love to entertain. It heats up super quickly and it is very easy to clean. I love my new stove. The only thing that I don't love is that in the convection cycle it emits too much heat through the fan and it's loud.

Nice addition

Bought this for a kitchen remodel. Is working out well. Enjoy many of the features, especially warming drawer.

Quality Range

I bought this range as part of a kitchen remodel about a month ago. I love the stainless steel look! The convection options makes cooking and baking much easier and quicker. The food looks evenly throughout. The buttons can be accidentally turned on easily so it is important to lock the key pad, especially if you have large pets.

Happy with the purchase, BUT....

Love the features of the range with the exception of the high pitched whine of the fan when the oven is on. Very annoying if you are in the kitchen area. Had the fan changed out and it made no difference. I will put up with it because the other features are great.

Warming drawer!

Nice to have a warming drawer! Will be great for holidays.

Want my old KitchenAid back!

This range has a high pitched whine (fan) that comes on the second the 'start' button is pushed. It stays on for the complete baking time. Warranty came and changed out the fan to hopefully make an improvement. No change. Also, my cooktop is ceramic white. What a pain. I have to use cleaner on it, even when boiling eggs! It looks lovely, but is such a pain to keep clean, and I am using NEW pans. Wish I had my old KitchenAid back!

great features. very nice looking in our kitchen

purchased several months age. Best looking of all the stoves we checked out. front control panel very touchy. not too crazy about glass cook top, pain in the neck to clean. Easy to operate!
