Finally a decent toaster in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this toaster. The darkness control dial is very responsive. The bagel button works but I prefer not to use it with bagels.

Looks nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like light toast and this toaster only toasts one side of the bread, the other side just gets dry but no color to it. I was disappointed because my old KitchenAid made my light toast perfectly.

inconsistent toasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you set higher than a 1, the toast is burned. One side always gets darker than the other. The BELL is annoying.

Last one we purchase is a Kitchen Made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes the plunger does not stay done on first try. We had the same toaster and it too stopped staying down when Pressed down to toast. Probably the last Kitchen Toaster we will Ever purchase again. Sorry twice dislike , Never Again thought it Would be the best , but not !

Don't use for white bread!

Find a different toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever used. Toasts unevenly, makes one side of the toast dark. It feels very cheap, the slide doesn’t want to stay down with first push. This is my warranty replacement and this one performs the exact same way the first one did. I would highly recommend finding another brand.

Very Disappointed

I purchased an earlier version of this toaster probably 6-7 years ago and was very happy with it. However, it finally stopped working and I replaced it with this toaster. Do not assume that “new and improved” is always better. In this case KA is offering a cheaper, less desirable model. It takes forever to toast a slice of bread and does so unevenly. While I like the bagel function, the toaster does not allow me to lift the bagel or muffin high enough to easily get it out. In addition it is not...

Unit need to be longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toasting is fast but I just wish the slots were bigger. We buy artisan bread and it’s shaped like a freebie so the middle parts don’t fit. But I do love the quickness of this toaster!

It's fine but not as good as it used to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It toasts but it's not nearly as good as the Kitchenaid 2-slice toaster it replaced from ten years ago (relay failed). It has 5 settings but anything above setting 2 burns the toast or bagel, so settings 3-5 are useless. It also takes almost twice as long to toast on the lowest setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks very nice, works very well. It beeps when done and then pops up. Scares me every time it beeps, LOL. We use 2 setting, it goes up to 5! Could not imagine using 5 setting, on 2 it is perfect

Disappointed with purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this toaster. It burnt toast black on #1 setting. Cant imagine what higher settings would produce. Spoke with KitchenAid and they decided to send me another one. The second toaster produced the same issue, burnt toast on setting 1. Had to call again and the lady said do you want me to send another? I replied “are you kidding”. Waiting for resolution of this frustrating issue.

Not great
