[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the toaster for a month now and it does not toast the sides evenly whether or not the bagel setting is on. Therefore I only gave it 4 stars. In addition, toasting takes exceptional long .

Great Looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks GREAT and so functional. Have not tried to toast bagels but sourdough toast is great. There is a fairly loud "ding" when the toast is done so you are alerted even if you are in another room. Cleaning is easy.

Great Toaster

Overpowered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm somewhat disappointed with the toaster. It appears to be significantly overpowered. With a setting of 1, I get just very slightly browned, somewhat warm toast. With a setting of 2, the toast is right at the limit of being inedible. It's right on the edge of being turned into croutons. I have yet to find anything that would allow me to use the 3, 4, and 5 settings. It's certainly well-made and attractive. The controls are repeatable ...

Kitchen aid is the best

Disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toaster is very nice looking and the color matches with the stand mixer perfectly KitchenAid) Unfortunately, the product was defective. It worked for a few days then basically the lever did not work so the toaster can not be started . I just retuned it!

Good quality, nice appearance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made, nice appearance, this toaster works great and the slots are wide enough to toast thick slices or bagels. A loud timer reminds me my toast is done when I’m in the far end of the house!

Kitchen toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd time I used the toaster, only one side of the bagel was toasted, I had to read the information sheet, after that both side were toasted. Always read the instructions. Love the toaster, much smaller then my previous one, fits in the cabinet just perfect. I love kitchenaid products.

Uneven toasting

Have adjusted the single setting many times and tried both slots and STILL get one side way less toasted on one side of bread.8 keep thinking it’s any reason than the toaster but gave up. Eat it unevenly toasted now.

Toast Burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both the toaster I purchased and returned, as well as the replacement toaster sent to me, burnt toast on just the medium setting, and were incapable of a light toasting. My smoke alarm was even triggered by the burning on medium. I still have my old Kitchenaid toaster purchased many, many years ago that doesn’t look great, but works fine. Guess they don’t make them like they used to.

Great toaster

Doesn’t toast evenly on both sides

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used the toaster a few times and it toasts darker on one side than the other even when the bagel feature is off. I’ve tried turning it on and off doesn’t change a thing. I haven’t called customer service yet, but I plan to. I hope there is a solution. It’s a beautiful toaster and looks good in my kitchen.

Think twice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aid has always been a reputable manufacturer of reliable appliances. I had no hesitation buying this online. Well, they obviously outsourced this model to the lowest bidder. The sheetmetal is thin, plastic and is flimsy, and heating elements are tiny and wasteful. It takes forever and only toasts half the bread. Really wanted to like it and use it for many years, but it's going back.
