versatile microwave oven

It appeared that the assembly line person forced it to fit when it did not line up properly, which also bent the rear panel at the top. I removed the rear panels and reassembled it the way it looked like it should be. This took stress off the convection fan (which was scraping as it turned before I did this) and it all went together prop...

I have had 2 other kitchens with high end appliances, but the KitchenAid have be by far the easiest to use and results are the same for a lot less.

Great microwave but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door is incredibly touchy. It won’t run until the door is all the way closed, which makes perfect sense. The problem is the door requires a very firm push to get it closed correctly, it shouldn’t be this difficult. Maybe I have a faulty door?

Pretty but weak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this microwave installed at the end of July, 2020. It's very attractive, but it only has 900 watts. I've never had a microwave under 1000 watts, and I never will again. It takes forever to reheat a cup of coffee. The convection part seems to work fine, but I've only used it once, so it does not make up for the low powered microwave function.

Commercial-grade, spacious and easy to clean!

Food warms quicker than other microwaves I have purchased in the past as well as evenly. The rotating dish is large and microwave is easy to clean. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable microwave.

Best microwave!!

We love all 3 and especially the microwave! Large interior, easy to operate and lots of options including convection cooking. Can’t say enough great things about it!

Greatest appliance ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very expensive for a microwave and we thought the oven features might be just average but we were wrong. This is THE BEST appliance ever and worth every penny. The oven features work better than our Thermador and the softening and crispy features work perfectly. Can’t believe they pulled off a Microwave that converts to an oven, but the did! If we moved, we would take it with us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new KitchenAid microwave. It has so many great features. The convection feature is so easy to use. You can also defrost, reheat, melt/soften in a couple of touches because of the programmed settings. It also has a steam cook setting and a crisp setting which are also easy to use.

Disappointed

I've had Kitchenaid appliances for years, love them, great quality. But this new microwave is a huge disappointment. Quality is on target as always for Kitchenaid BUT I can barely reach to clean the back wall of it!!! Have to use really long tongs and cleaning cloth and I'm not short. When you open the door to clean it's very difficult to reach the back wall. The door opens like a regular oven door not the typical microwave door. Wish I had thought of this when I was deciding on purchase...

Amazing microwave

Fan keeps running!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I’ve only used the microwave; not the convection oven. I think it’s weird the fan keeps running after the cook time is finished. No other microwave I’ve ever used does this. May have something to do with the convection. Read the entire manual with no explanation provided. Otherwise, everything else checks out ok. Also, it runs at a lower wattage than I’m used to. For this reason, I need to use a higher cook power.
