Same good features we are used to.

Newly acquired

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we are happy with our new microwave. We have only been in our new home for 30 days so we hope we feel the same way months down the road after we have a chance to experience all of its features.

It’s just a microwave

Great product - expensive tho - it’s just a microwave- at the end of the day this thing was over $2k to swap out another kitchenaid microwave- can’t hate it after buying it - actually love it - but sheesh I feel like I got fleeced !! $2k ? That’s what I grew up calling Hiway Robbery !! My last microwave was bought at garage sale for $10 and lasted 10 years lol.

Excellent microwave

Non-repairable Kitchen Aid Appliances

My Kitchen Aid Microwave KMBS104ESS had an Issue with it not heating back in Nov 2023. I called Certified Kitchen Aid repair company to see about repairing the microwave. I have had the Appliance Service company to my house roughly 10 times and they have either replaced or attempted to replace the magnatron 7 times to include the diodes at least once. In the whole time between 10/2023 and 2/2025 I have been able to use the microwave approximately 15 to 20 times. I am in to the repair for almost...

Needs a keypad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All our appliances are all KitchenAid now and we love them all except for the microwave. Not having a numerical keypad is a pain. Our old microwave, not a KitchenAid, had the keypad and 1 thru 5 were instant. It was very convenient to hit a number and the microwave would automatically start, on high, for that period of time.

Microwave Touchpad Suddenly Stopped Working

I bought this item about 3 years ago and similar to a lot of the complaints on here, the LED touch panel suddenly stopped working. Some buttons work but most don't and now it is impossible to start the microwave or even when it does start, it is impossible to turn it off which is very dangerous for a household! I am ashamed to have trusted an American product to deliver quality. For such a consistent issue, the product should have been recalled in order to do right by their customers. Do not buy...

Unpractical

Don't Buy won't Last

Bought a new machine in 2020 during Covid, it has lasted less than 4 years before all of the boards went out causing it to not work nor display.

Low power, clock doesn’t display properly

The microwave has always had low power. Melting a tablespoon of butter takes a minute and a half. About two years in to owning the display broke and you can’t tell what the first number is.

Great knob control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed in kitchen island. Now I do not have to reach on top of the range. The knob adjustment for time is great. My whirlpool over the range microwave was more powerful though. It takes 3 minutes for this to heat up food compared to two minutes in my last microwave.

Works, but does not match the Kitchenaid ovens
