The control panel is concealed when closed and has responsive soft touch when selecting wash and dry settings. My fear unfortunately is how long the build quality will hold up. Also, the user buttons are seen on the top of the door when you open the dishwasher, so you don't accidentally start the dishwasher before you close it

Would RecommendKenmore elite, very nice product. LOVED the interior Ight, the utensil rack slid down easily for larger items without having to remove whole top. Racks were sturdy. Handle did not stick out. Loved the sensing light to let you know it's running.
