Would RecommendI installed this in my stainless steel sink. I used plumbers putty around the lip to help get a good seal. I like having the basket in it to catch food and debris before going down the drain. I like to keep that stuff out of my septic tank. Has a standard kitchen sink drain connection on the bottom. I use glass cleaner to keep it looking clean.
