Would RecommendGreetings from Butler, PA. Broke the left slot on my plastic toilet flange while replacing a toilet on concrete basement floor. Bought a VERY cheap hammer drill and used two Tapcon 3/16" x 1-3/4" concrete screws and the recommended 5/32" Tapcon concrete drill bit. Vacuumed the concrete drill dust. This "mending plate" is flat and can be flipped over to accommodate slots going in the opposite direction. I am not the handiest, and everything went great. Highly recommend this item.
Great broken flange repair
Would RecommendIn the instructions it says to slide the repair bracket under the existing floor flange. This is not possible due to the existing flange being anchored to the floor. Putting it on top works great and provides a solid mounting surface.
Good Toilet Hardware kit
Toilet repair kit is easy to install but the bolt slots were to short which prevented the mount bolts to be parallel for toilet. I had to lengthen the toilet mount bolt hardware slot 5/8th inch to accommodate for the toilet mount bolts. I drilled two 1/4" hole and filed the burrs to extend the slot. This allows the mount bolts to be parallel for the toilet to slip over and secure to the floor.
