What Customers Are Saying
The product has a mixed performance, with some users finding it easy to install and a good fit, but many reporting issues with the black finish chipping and peeling within a few months. Some also had trouble with the strainer not staying open or leaking. While it may work well for some, the poor durability of the black coating appears to be a widespread problem, leading to frustration and the need for frequent replacement. Customers recommend considering the standard stainless steel finish or looking for a higher-quality alternative.

Would RecommendI purchased two of these. The first installed no problem very easy to install. The second had very shallow threads and would not tighten. I had to make a special trip to Lowe’s in the middle of the install to exchange. The replacement worked fine but the manufacturing defect cost time and money.
Easy to install, no problem
Would RecommendI didn't put enough silicone caulk, causing a leak. Didn't need to reinstall, just loosened it up and squeezed in more caulk. Next time I would know. No issues

Would buy this item again
Would Recommendjust your normal sink drain nothing fancy but made well and price is good.
It scratches easy but works well.
Would RecommendThis drain strainer is really nice looking but does scratch easily. Make sure to use plumbers putty when you install the base.

The key is to use enough plumbers putty so that it begins to squeeze out as you tighten the metal nut on the bottom. That is how you will get a water tight seal. I included a picture showing what I mean. I like that the nut on the bottom is made of metal because you do put quite a bi...
Sink Strainer
Would RecommendThis strainer is easy to install and it works. My only complaint, such as it is, involves the gasket that is used to connect to the drain pipe. The interior is a little narrow and that limits how fast the water can drain. Not a lot but noticeable.

Haven't used it yet, but it looks fine
Would RecommendLooks good--perfectly unobtrusive. Haven't gotten the drain working yet, but I'd imagine since this item has holes in it, the water will flow right through just like we want. Amazing.
Late
Would RecommendWhen you are trying to put in a kitchen sink and you wait around to get the sink baskets that you ordered on-line; and they come 3 days late! Not happy. Better not be anything wrong with them like the sink I ordered from them! Not happy. Having a kitchen sink is a big thing, if you know what I mean??
