Solved the problem!

Colors bleed through even using multiple layers

Excellent primer
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The premium Kilz int/ext primer, I use on rust, I applied it on the rust spots on my porch posts and topcoat with a premium paint 12 years ago and still no rust. Excellent product

Kilz 3 - wonderful primer for my work

Awesome primer

Great coverage
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this primer on shiplap boards in our bathroom. Coverage was great and the primer smoothed the surface of the shiplap making the final coat of glossy white Behr paint roll on smoothly. Three years later the paint looks brand new.

Don’t use for fresh cedar
Normally have purchased standard Kilz and have been satisfied. First time buyer of Kilz 3. Had kiln dried cedar to paint. 1st coat bleed through. Second coat 12 hours later bleeding through mainly at knots. Would not recommend for fresh cedar.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ONLY primer I ever use. I don't even clean or degrease prior to priming. It covers everything, anything. Never paint without KILZ first.

Going to go next and buy the interior kind to start our next project...refinishing the inside of our camper after I am finished sanding.
