Works well

So far so good. Picks up leaves and grass clippings well. Only had it clog once with wet grass. Makes clean ups so much easier.

Hard to attach to side blower

The bagger was easy to assemble but difficult to attach to the lawnmower. The instructions and pictures shown did not look like my John Deere mower. It was very hard to attach at the bottom and I’m unable to get a good fit on the side blower. Therefore it doesn’t pick up all leaves and grass. I need to find someone that knows how it attaches at the bottom.

Check for all parts at delivery.

High lift blades that comes with the bagger kit was not included when delivered. Became aware of missing parts during assembly.

The bags hold less than the older model

Hard to install and remove. Bags hold less and are made of lightweight plastic. Everything is held in place with cotter pins. My tractor deck does not have the same slots/holes that the shoots need. I feel that it will be broken quickly but I do not know of anything else I can do. $500 was a lot to pay. One positive thing is the bags are easy to empty.

Cute clogs too often!

It's my only option! Mulching is not an option for me because I don't want to mow more than every 6 days. So i have to bag it. My lawn is fairly healthy and healthy grass clippings contain moisture. They tell you not to cut the grass when it's wet and i don't but the moisture in the grass makes clippings wet and the wet cut grass clogs the cure every couple minutes. It's a PITA!

I read many reviews and some had problems with bagger collecting grass or leaves and at first I had problem but realized I needed to slow down with speed of tractor and the lid was not going down completely because the plastic tab at the center of the bagger just above the bags was sticking so lid did not close completely. it works, but

cheap made, gaps everywhere causing grass to be blown on your back, youll look like youve been rolling around in grass clippiings. i will be mounting som type of cloth on it to keep grass of my back, or just toss the whole think out.

Doubles as an Exercise Program

I've had this bagging system on my 48 inch deck JD for a while now, and have used it in varying conditions. It works reasonably well in dry grass that isn't thick....but in a thicker stand, or in grass that is even slightly wet, the tube will plug constantly. This allows the rider to frequently dismount, detach the tube, remove the blockage, then re-attach the tube, providing a solid workout for the back, gluteus, triceps, and other muscle groups.
