Strange coating; doesn't appear sharp
Would Not RecommendBought a 3 pack set for my E170. The blades were in a sealed plastic pack w/ the JD logo on it. When I looked at the blades at install time, I notices a black coating covering the entire blade, including the cutting edges and the hold for the retainment nut. Not sure what that is and JD and Lowes had no idea either. it was like the manufacturer's QA was poor and cover the blade edges with the same black coating as the rest of the blade, giving the blade edge a very dull feel.
