Would RecommendI find that the tree spikes provide a more gradual fertilization of my fruit trees. If you need a quick burst of vitamins use the granular type. The granules don't gradually feed, but provide a great burst of energy to tired, wintered fruit trees before you spike it to them.

Would RecommendI purchased the spikes in order to bring some life back into my potted grapefruit trees after a winter in the dark. Within a week the foliage was returning with its deep green.
