Not worth it

I bought 2 of these thinking I can pair them together when riding our pit bikes. Apparently you cannot. I haven’t even used but three boxes put so I can’t return. Disappointed

Less features

I bought a jbl clip 3, been using it for years, but the battery is sadly no longer holding a charge or charging. So when i came looking for a new one, i figure upgrading to the jbl clip 4 wasnt a bad idea, same price i paid for the old one. And then as i was trying it out, i come to find they removed features the previous model had. No more phone calls, just audio. No long displays battery life percentage in bluetooth menu. Great little speaker

I absolutely love the speaker. I was in love with my go 3 but wanted something lighter as I stock shelves at night for work. I gave this 4 stars only because I hate where the power button is located. Directly on the back side. Quite a few times while working it has hit my side and shut the speaker off. Never happened with the go 3 because the power button is on top. If that power button was in a better location this speaker would be completely perfect for me. Button location may not be an issue...

Compare clip 3 & clip 4

I already Owned the clip 3 but was getting old and, carabiner clip busted so hard to use at work. Purchased the 4 because loved my 3 ! The differences I’ve have noticed the is the carabiner clip is half plastic don’t care for that Due to the longevity of my prior clip and sound quality and loudness seems better in the clip 3. Visually the 4 knocked it out the park the I chose the camo with orange and it looks great

Perfect Portable Speaker

This speaker delivers more than expected. I unboxed mine, placed on the kitchen table and my husband walked in wanting to see where that deep base was coming from. Boom, I ordered him one also.

Illogical button design!

Terrible design. Barely bumping the power button will turn it off or the Bluetooth button will put it in pairing mode. Considering it is designed to be clipped to a backpack, golf bag, etc, the buttons should be recessed or you should have to hold them down to activate them. Hoping a firmware update can fix this poorly thought out design!

Great sound quality and awesome color!!

I got this the blue JBL Clip 4 as a birthday gift from a WONDERFUL friend. It was such an exciting surprise to receive this speaker and I have been using it NON-stop since receiving the gift. Poor Quality Paint

Received this as a gift from friends. The speaker works well for its size but I would not recommend having a custom design printed. The paint is cheap and immediately rubs off. You can also see small clumps of paint that just peel up exposing the white speaker below. Thankful for the gift but sad that the customization piece lasted less than 5 minutes out of the box.

For the money the sound is great, and significantly better than other speakers that cost 4x more than this.

Good sound

I bought this JBL clip 4 about 2 months ago and the on and off button sucks the worst speakers I have bought I work as a roofer and when my hardness touches my on and off botton it turns off very easily I prefer the inserted power botton like the one on the JBL clip 3 thank you

Admirable speaker

I purchased the clip 4 recently and I am very happy. Excellent speaker for the money. Well worth every penny.

On-the-go Sound Quality

Since I purchased a Clip 4, it has gone on many adventures with us. It works great clipped on a belt loop or hanging from a canopy pole. The sound quality is surprisingly good with a clean, crisp sound, without any echo/tinny-ness. Overall, this is a great speaker for going out and about.

Better clip but the older model had more function

I'm pretty displeased with this. I had an older model that worked better, it connected for phone calls which was the main reason I purchased. This newer version has no mic/phone audio so I can't make phone calls while riding my bike. I wish I had known this before buying. It also doesn't tell me the battery life of the speaker on my phone which is the only device I have it connected to. The sound is ok. The rubber bumpers began peeling off immediately and are almost all gone

Good but why doesn't it fit over shower head

Nice sound, decent price but why, WHY make a portable waterproof speaker that has clip that doesn't fit around shower head?? That cost it one star. And the super sensitive power button that gets bumped easily cost it another
