Frozen pipe cracked a galvanized 90

Over a one inch crack in a galvanized 90 in a spot i couldn't change out the pipe without opening up the whole ceiling and replacing a huge section of pipes, in desperation I tried the JB weld pipe patch. Following the directions it worked amazingly well, im blown away at how strong this patch really is, I highly recommend this product, $15 saved me thousands

Time/ money saver

Soak the fiber wrap a few extra seconds before use

Only a minor issue but the gloves it came with are huge. Make sure you have gloves that fit your hand or it's really hard to mix the epoxy.

Quick repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this as a quick repair on a pvc piece. Worked well and is still working. It's something I am using for a but until I can fully repair the pipe in question. It's held up nicely so far, about a month. I don't know if I would use this long term but it's done great so far for a month. I do keep an eye on it to make sure in case it gets worse. Easy to use and apply, as long as you follow directions.

Solid Repair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid Cast repair on my pipes. I sprung a leak in a high pressure outside line. This repair was easy to use and it is holding well, two weeks later. The hard part was getting the clearance on the line to wrap it, I had a muddy mess and the area was in a very tricky location.

Doe NOT work!

I applied the tape exactly as described, checked the next day and the leak was still there. Plus, it was just a pinhole leak. Do NOT waste your money on this. Just replace the section with a piece of Pex and some sharkbite connectors.

Worked great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this just to have on hand in case something happened and lo and behold as soon as I got it, something happened had a waterline break under the ground, took me a whole cast .I got this just to have on hand in case something happened and low and behold as soon as I got it, something happened had a waterline break under the ground dug me a hole casted it off and boom. No more leaks definitely good stuff.

Easy To use

I also really loved how it came with everything I needed to fix the repair, except for water. It even had the gloves needed. I would highly recommend this pipe repair kit.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells terrible. Of course it does. It’s an epoxy like welding agent. Put on as a temporary fix while I waited for a plumber to be available to re-sweat replacement pipes together. Easy to put on. Held on until the final repairs were made.

Did perfect in my basement.

First time to use but it was easy as pie
