Would RecommendEasy to "install"....just drop one down into the drain! It will lodge down in that U-trap (bend) where trouble most often dwells.......then just walk away (remember to replace it at the stated recommended interval). I purchased these based on positive reviews (by, it appeared, a "test group" of users). Frankly, my jury's still out on these as I've only just "stationed" them in all my drains........I'm waiting to see how they work out.......so far, so good........
