Save the hassle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for homeowners and DIYers. It is much easier and cleaner to handle than using Plumber’s putty. I used it when installing Insinkerator disposal, it worked very well. It was watertight and absolutely no leak. The only downside is it’s much more expensive than plumber’s putty. However, if you only do this kind of project once every 5-10 years, I don’t see a point to store leftover putty, use it up and be done with it.
