Stopped working less than 2 years

I bought the Insinkerator 3/4 horsepower disposal thinking it was the best I could buy! Other than being the most expensive, it turns out it didn't even work for long. I didn't buy the extended warranty because I didn't feel like I had to. Now I need to replace it and waste about another $500

Performing as expected

This is the second Insinkerator unit that we have purchased (one in our previous house and now this one in our new house) and they have both performed without any problems.

A LOT more quiet than previous disposal

This is our 2nd InSinkErator, We liked the first one, But after 24 years it was done(got a leak) found this one at the store, husband put it in, first I thought it was broke or not working because I couldn't hear anything. Husband had to show me that it was in fact on. I couldn't believe how quiet it was, We're very happy

Quiet!!!!

So quiet and powerful!

This is the second InSinkerator we have installed over two houses. Next house, we will do it again! Love how easy they are to install. Very durable and tough. And so quiet! We use ours with the push button installed on the edge of the sink.

Powerful and really really really quiet

It is really quiet. Hard to tell if it is even on. But it works great and quickly.

Very quiet

My last insinkerator came with the house and had 2 year warranty, ended up lasting 12 years before giving out. Bout this one because my parents have similar evolution essential model and it was extremely quiet. This one did not disappoint. Only had slight trouble installing because i did not take the size into account and the pipes under my sink are not movable without tearing everything out, it was a tight squeeze but still fit without any major work needing done to adjust drain pipes.

Insinkerator Evolution

When you are told a garberator is quiet, you normally say" sure it is". But this model is ultra quiet and doesn't pressure up the other sink. Works really well so far. Wasn't an exact fit dimensionally as claimed . Had to cut back the outlet pipe approx 1 inch.

Super quiet

Changed a garburator that had worked for 25 years but wasn't efficient any more. Totally impressed with the new one. The tap running makes more noise the the insinkerator

Leaks / HP

This product started leaking from the mounting base after one week of usage. After removal I was not able to find an issue so I reinstalled it with no leaks. The unit overheated the same time of the leak as well under normal usage. The 1HP power has a lot of torque that causes movement between motor and mount under sink. Mount is secured with zero movement and the only thing I see happening it the movement of the insinkerator under torque.I thought the Evolution would resolve all my issues. T...

Great Disposal

Fairly easy to install if you are swapping out an old disposal but get a plumber otherwise. Runs great and is worth the extra cost for quiet operation and no vibration unlike lower cost models.

Quiet, Strong and Well Worth the Investment

This product was a little pricy, but literally eviscerates any food products you put down the drain... I highly recommend... it is also very quiet and functions flawlessly...

Nice quality in this quiet disposal

We really like this product. It was a reinstall of an 11year old unit that came with the house. Since it was the same brand it was fairly easy to install but was fairly heavy and I got a little bit lucky on the install.

Best way to go

Make sure the drain line is lower than the insinkerator outlet. Install is really quite easy, it does require some arm muscle strength. Power hookup is straightforward. Getting the countertop switch and the power cord makes it very easy especially for a new install. Operation in very strong and quiet. Enjoy!
