Best Garbage Disposal Ever!

We love this garbage disposal and wouldn't have one if it wasn't for this one. The fact that it only turns on when the cover is on is what got us to get a garbage disposal. Best one ever!

It works

Easy enough to install and it takes care of the food that goes down it. It's better to compost as much as possible, but this is a peace of mind so that I'm not worried about small food going down the drain.

Have not used since installed cause vibrates when I try to use it. Please advise.not

Not user friendly! I have a hard time using because it vibrates terribly when I use it, so I stopped using it. I would like support to solve the problem. It is not easy to engage. I have had to pull garbage out of it by hand. This is my third insinkerator and the highest quality of my other two, which worked great! I would like you to replace it!

garbage disposer

I've always had Insinkerator continuous feed disposers. One lasted 35 years & the one at our shore house is 27 years old & still working. When our kitchen was remodeled, the contractor put in an Insinkerator batch-feed. It lasted fewer than 10 years. We just had a new batch-feed installed, which I'm not crazy about batch-feed disposers, but to go through the expense to run electrical wires and install a plug was out of the question. Let's see how long this one lasts.

well made extremely quiet for a garbage disposal

high quality! our second incinerator and improvements are evident. Our previous disposal ( also an insinkerator ) lasted 10 years and was excellent but this improved on that. Sound proofing was amazing with hardly an audible noise, only a low pitched hum. I would not consider any other brand. love the stopper actuator.

There is no other that I would use. Your product is what garbage disposal means.

Have used insinkerator disposals in all of my homes over the past 35 years. Quality product.

Quiet

Had a plumber install it so can't really remark about installation. Obviously very important to get it installed right. Very quiet and seems very powerful and water flows through cap easily when it is turned on.

Works great, very quiet.

I had to replace an older Insinkerator and this model was the closest to it that didn’t require any modifications. It’s heavy and hard to lift into place during installation, but after successfully completing, it was well worth it. The top of sink components used to operate are much more attractive and well made. Looks and works so much better. Very pleased with outcome.

Excellent InSinkErator!

We had this insink erator professionally installed and it is fantastic! It turns on and off easily, grinds food quietly and efficiency.

Installed in 30 minute's.

Replaced after the last insinkerator gave us 20 plus years of service. The magnetic cover is plus.

Bought one in 2014, needed another on in 2020, finally got in mid 2021. Good p[oduct, easy to use and install, fits into existing sink adapter/

A solid machine that does the job

I had to replace my garbage disposal recently and my contractor recommended the Insinkerator unit. It has a lot of power and certainly has ground everything I have shoveled into it, including banana peels, pomegranate shells, avocado shells (I did not try the pits!) It works quickly and quite quietly. I definitely am happy I bought it.

Extremely Quiet

We don’t even know it’s on. It’s our second disposal, first one lasted almost forever, we’re sure this one will last a long time.

product works extremely well and efficiently

i had no problem in installing it due to the quick attach and release of the product from my previous one that i had for over 12 years. with a growing family at the time of 3 teenage boys and my daughter the insinkerator was more than up to the task!

So happy to have the cover controller again.

The magnetic part of the controller cover on our old Insinkerator/Kitchen Aid unit broke. To turn on the disposer we had to open the door under the sink and flip a switch. I also wanted the strongest unit available. We could not get the 1 horsepower. This unit is 7/8 hp. It is also very quiet compared to the old one. And it does not have any rubber gasket parts that would get grungy. This is a clean well designed unit.

New home, new disposal

We've had our new disposal for 3 months and have been very happy with it. It's quieter than the model we had in our old home, and has worked very well so far. We would recommend this model.
