Would RecommendI bought the hot water tank to replace my existing one that I had for 11yrs before it developed a slow leak from the tank. The Insinkerator Hot Water dispenser is one of my favorite kitchen products to have.

Cheaper materials than the model 5 years ago
Would Not RecommendThe included tap no longer comes with copper tubing. The last exact model I replaced with this one had that tubing. That’s a big problem when connecting to the working filter portion. I’m worried about what other cost savings have been wrung out of this new device.

NOT A SIMPLE REPLACEMENT WHEN YOUR OLD ONE DIES
Would Not RecommendCopper line replaced with plastic so its not a simple install if you are replacing. You have to find, buy and replace the shut off valve you previously installed with your old hot water dispenser. Garbage!

Why not include the water supply fitting? It’s $1
Would RecommendIt would have been a 5-star rating but required a second trip to the store to get a compression fitting to connect it to the water supply. It required an 1/4” plastic ferrule and copper sleeve. This was a surprise since the one I replaced was copper and used a copper ferrule. Otherwise, installation was very easy, and it works perfectly.

Excellent addition to a sink!
This item was unique to install. It does NOT come with all the required parts. You have to purchase a "T" connecter for the water supply line. This could become tricky to find but once you do, easy install. Also, wake sure you have a separate power source other than the plug that the garbage disposal uses. This source is wired to a switch. Lastly, make sure the power souse you will use has an additional outlet.
