There are 2 shelves on it which is very usual. I can throw hats, gloves whatever on one and shoes on the other. Very sturdy and well built.

It has space for your basket and clothes that don't go in the dryer I can just hang on the top. It looks really nice, clean and expensive! Very well made and designed product! Great buy! our laundry room has new life because of this!
