Great for completely dry grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the mulching kit in June of 2025 right after purchasing a new Husqvarna MZ 48 ZTR mower. The kit was somewhat difficult to install as I didn't remove the mower deck from the chassis. Instead, I jacked up the front casters and installed the components from below and worked mostly upside down/on my back. The blades were simple enough to replace, however the deck guides needed a little force to align the nuts and bolts with the predril...

Poor design on retainer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor design on the retainer bolts the front one would not work the anti scalp wheel is in the way had to replace with a regular nut.

Deceptive, false advertising. Do not buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture clearly displays six parts in the kit, but only four are actually included. It’s misleading to advertise the product with components that aren’t provided. Definitely not worth the price for just three blades and a flimsy side cover—you’re better off finding a more affordable kit elsewhere.

Garbage

Complete garbage. Ive bought two of these and both shattered within a week.

Plastic cover is GARBAGE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the mulching kit on last weekend and mowed without issue! Today 8/25/24 it picked up a small rock and shattered the plastic cover! I DO NOT recommend you get this! The cover should be made out of the same metal the deck is! The plastic shot everywhere and I'm lucky it didn't hit me in the face! Very dumb idea to use cheap plastic. I do like the way the mulching blades work! Until it's metal DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Kit not complete

Only received 3 mulch blades. No mulch cover, hardware or instructions.

Mulch Kit Fits Z246 Zero-Turn, TS 146XK, YTH22V46

Then Husqvarna mulch Kit HU46 (Mulch Kit Fits Z246 Zero-Turn and TS 146XK & YTH22V46 Tractors). Was a perfect fit for my YTH22V46. The mulching cover was made from, good quality and durable materials. The blades worked very well with the mulching cover on. The blades also preformed well with the normal deflector cover as well. Overall I was very satisfied with the product and the delivery of the product.
