Would RecommendI had an electrician install two of these in our smaller bedrooms. I don't have the time or interest to DIY, and I know that ceiling fans, although relatively easy to install, present issues that hacks like me might not enjoy. List price was $134.98, which we agreed was reasonable in light of what we paid for our larger fans in larger rooms, $1000 each. The electrician installed the two of them in one hour for a reasonable fee.

fan good, installation terrible
Would Not RecommendFan is quite nice, I would have given it a 4.5 for quality, but Installation was terrible. It took about 7 hours altogether. Blades require a blind connection, can't see on how to line up holes. Same for connecting motor to light housing. Pull chain for fan was only 3 inches long. Slipped out my hands while attaching extension, chain went out of hole and back into light fixture. No way to put back into hole. Could have been design better for homeowner assembly. Only recommended if s...

Would RecommendEasy install, very quiet, moves a lot of air. Blades are extra thick so I don't expect them to droop like the thinner blades. I installed it in the garage to replace an older fan that was installed about 14 years ago and had drooping blades. Only real complaint was that it was difficult to plug in the light kit because of all the wires in the connection box inside the light part of the fan. It comes with 2 LED bulbs (cool white), I would prefer daylight color instead, but that's just my prefe...
