Swanson Ceiling Fans by Hunter

The color of the entire ceiling fan and light cover is perfect..It makes both bedrooms look so much bigger..The fans are whisper quiet!

Trouble with installation

We love the fan, but it did not fit the bracket of the previous Hunter fan. So I had to put in a new box in the ceiling to fit the new bracket. So, it was more work and cost than should have been necessary

Great Ceiling Fans

Replaced my over 29 year old bedroom ceiling fans with two of these. They are quiet and look modern.

looks good, but a bit loud

aesthetically it is a nice fan. goes together very well. just a bit loud with the hum of the motor on high. i did buy two more, as they match my decor perfectly and look nice.

Looks Great with Great Quality

From past experience, I was worried it would be difficult to install, but I was surprised by how few steps there were for installation. It took a little bit to follow/understand the directions but it was pretty easy once I figured it out. I like that there were two light bulbs included; however, there were not LED bulbs. Quiet quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not really loyal to any brand of ceiling fan but the name Hunter has been around for a long time. This is easy to use and almost silent. I end up leaving it on all the time because it's so quiet. I live in a very warm area and it really does help with the hvac bills.

As expected

Easy to put together, functioning well so far. Quiet fan, plenty of power. Lovely light globe.

Fan Hums and Buzzes

Most of the fans in our home are a different brand but we've been very pleased with them. This fan was only about $20 more than another we considered but we have heard for years how fans made by Hunter are wonderful. We installed this fan and immediately noticed a humming noise the motor made. We checked everything and nothing was loose. I exchanged the fan at Lowe's for the exact same fan assuming it was a bad motor -- nope, SAME THING with the new fan. It hums and has now started buzzing at ti...

Much better than expected at this price point.

Purchased two. Easy to mount and wire, comes with LED bulbs to install. No "humming," no wobbling, no vibration. Would give it 5 stars if it came with a longer extension for 10' and 12' ceilings. (the extension provided is only a couple of inches long). Went back to the store and bought a 12" and an 18" extender, so all is well.

Worst installation instructions of all time.

Fan is nice, but I have never had a product with worse installation instructions. Thank goodness that I am very handy, I can't imagine someone with minimal mechanical aptitude installing this. Installed a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan last week with my son and be both said the installation instructions for that were the best ever - buy a Harbor Breeze fan and save yourself some aggravation.

SMALL Motor Housing

This fan is quiet, doesn't wobbly, and looks nice except it is VERY small and looks ... wimpy. We ended up moving it from a bedroom to a very small area and it didn't look quite as teeny. I am attaching a picture. We are using a different light shade than the one it came with.
