I did curbside pickup and the gentleman loaded. When I took it out heard rattling sound. Took down old fan opened box to install new one and the glass shade was in pieces. That explains the noise. Didn't return because needed to install new fan. Was able to use glass from old fan. Highly disappointed that someone would sell it knowing there was rattling sound that something was wrong.

Good fan, terrible installation instructions
The ceiling fan was purchased to replace our 20 yr old Hunter fan. Like everything made today, quality is a little less. It’s still a really quiet fan. I would definitely purchase it again. The installation instructions are terrible. It’s crammed on one page with a crowded diagram. We’ve installed other ceiling fans so we did okay but decent instructions should be provided. That’s the reason for the one star reduction.

Would RecommendNice looking ceiling fan and globe and what a great price! I had four globes on my last living room fan, one I've had since I moved in this house in 1987, and I so much like the one globe better. Gives off plenty of light for my needs. I would definitely buy again.

Would RecommendDifficult to install. The first time I pulled the fan speed chain the end came off in my hand. Repaired it with dental floss.

Would RecommendThis is a very nice fan. My wife has always wanted white ceiling fans. I am painting our ceilings, since that hasn’t been done in about 20 years. Once each ceiling is painted I am installing these fans to replace the Hunter fans I installed about 35 years ago. Installation is easy. Wiring is easy. One warning though - put a towel or something over the fan housing when you attach the cowling to the ceiling bracket. I dropped a screw (twice) into the fan housing.
