not good at all

I bought this fan 4 years ago. First thing the fan doesn't really move the air. unless it is on full blast (when you hear a hum) if your right under the fan you feel nothing. But now after 4 years the one blade just broke off from up inside the fan. now looking for a new one...

Is acceptable fan

The fan is quiet but one of the sockets arrived with a large crack. Had to replace.

The only reason my rating is not a 5 is because it was deliveted a little over a week late.

Best Ceiling Fan Ever

We have 4 new hunter fans we just installed in our new house ans they are fabulous! They were easy to jnstall and very quiet!

Some good and some not so good

I really like Hunter fans and they are the only ones in the house. This replaced one that was 25 years old and starting to make noise. The fan feels a little cheap but it was low priced- I hope it is as good as other Hunter fans. Installation manual was good but I didn't realize it came with 2 size downloads so I had to dismantle and replace with the shorter rod. And I love/hate the mounting bracket- its great for hanging the fan during electrical work but the opening for the mounting screws is ...

Replacing fans

I bought five of these fans. I really like the looks and how they function. The led bulbs put out more than double the light I had before. They are easy to install. Instructions are very clear. They replaced five old fans.

No worries

Very nice, quiet, stable fan. The installation Is a breeze, and when it’s done, the fan runs on “high”, but the chain pulls are perfectly still. That’s just how I like it.

Can't find replacement light bulbs

I didn't start using my office until about a year ago, and two bulbs that came with the fan have burnt out. The max.wattage and base size are not on the unit or in the manual. I was on hold almost 40 minutes trying to talk to customer service before finally giving up. I can't find any comparable bulbs in local stores. For that reason, I can't give this fan a high mark. This is poor service on the part of the company to not even list the type of bulbs needed, and to not answer their calls.

Reasonable Price and Easy to Install

I purchased this Hunter fan to replace one in my house that the light kit burned out on after 10 years. The LED lights on this unit make a huge difference compared to the previous model that had had candelabra bulbs. I am an amateur and was able to remove the old fan and install this one in about an hour.

Ridgefield 5 minute fan

So I have purchased 8 of these fans and although they look great and are simple to install 6 of the 8 fans have issues with the lighting, i.e they stopped working, no it is not a issue with the switch nor have I exceeded the bulb wattage. Nor have I been able to just buy the lighting fixture seperately

Great fan

Love this fan. It's decor fits great with the room. Hunter is a great brand which lasts a long time with no problems. Electrician had this fan up in no time.

Good looking fan!

I bought this fan because my old one no longer fit my décor. I like the look, colors, design, and the airflow. I also like how bright the light is. This replaced my hunter baseball ceiling fan. Anyway, I recommend this fan and I will purchase again in the future. When you look at the photos, the hunter baseball ceiling fan was my old one. The hunter Ridgefield is my new one.

Lasted 5 years, but beware of the light kit.

Overall liked the fan. It was a good looking fan, quiet and it lasted a little over 5 years. (January 2015 to July 2020) However the fan speeds never worked quite right. You would click on 1st or 2nd speed and sometimes it would just stop. Of course sometimes it worked fine. Last week the light fixture made a loud pop and quit working. Fan is still fine, but after reading the Fan Kit reviews I'll be replacing the entire fan. I guess when you pro-rate it at $90 over the course of 5.5 years...

Great replacement.

Zero Issues. Replaced a 22 year old living room fan in a 24 x 20 ft room. Great air mover. SImple to install as a replacement. Beautiful, quiet, and perfectly balanced.

Fan is ok.

Fan and light works ok. Easy to install. Too much motor hum for a Hunter ceiling fan. Could be quieter. Balance is good. I probably will not buy another Hunter.

Loud Hum from fan motor

I installed one, turned it on, and started disassembly 5 minutes later when i heard the loud hum from the motor. Since i know the Hunter reputation, I returned and replaced with a new box of the same fan. It makes the same loud noise. This fan is louder than 20 year old no name ceiling fans in my house.
