Would RecommendHunter the the way to go! We bought few other trying to save money but did not work! This fan is not that expensive for the quality. Very easy to install. Very quiet. We do not use the lights as we have recessed lights all over. It has been over 5 months with no problems.

Replacement Fan
Would RecommendThis was a replacement for a fan that had the fan control chain go through a bushing and bend before it reached he switch. this put a strain and caused the chain to break inside the switch. The new fan has a direct connected switch.

Ceiling fan installation
Would RecommendFan is awesome once it is up. I wish that the mounting brackets holes where cut a little longer to adjust to the size of older metal electric boxes. Also I would recommend that the canopy be made where you could just push it up and twist it in place and then tighten the screws. Currently it is where you have to hold the canopy and try putting in these tiny screws. Hands vs ceiling vs screws is a daunting task. Screws are ito small and not very long

This ceiling fan was purchased 9 months ago. All 3 light sockets have quit working. The fan is suppose to have a one yr manufacturer warranty but when I called, they informed me that it was out of stock and probably wouldn't be restocking that item! I wouldn't recommend buying this fan....it doesn't last and Hunter doesn't stand behind it.
