GFIC failed

Box & install good, but GFIC outlet, made in China, failed after 3 days. Will not reset. Now need to replace w/ name brand.

Installed and works as expected

We needed an additional GFI box outside for Christmas lights and leaf blower. This box has an included GFI outlet in its water resistant box. Installed easily and works properly. More cost effective and easier than buying parts separately

Hubbell TayMac

Excellent quality. Works great to keep the moisture off the outlet.

Ground fault plug was faulty

I installed this plug and cover, but when the power was turned back on the plug keep blowing. I had to run and buy another plug and cover from another retailer and the next day return this unit to Lowes.

Sucky GFI

Gfi is sucky. Does not like to reset. Bought 2 and both suck. Buy GFI by itself and spend a few more $. And save yourself greef.

Excellent Product

I am replacing all of my exterior outlets with this product. I initially installed this on my travel trailer. Highly recommend.

Works Great

I purchased two of these. They work fine. During the installation, I thought that perhaps they make different ones for different sizes of wire. No. The thing was that the wires I had were not solid wire. The wires were braided together and that's normal. But I couldn't get them into the receptacle. Finally I decided to see if I couldn't do a better job of twisting the wires together and thus making it a little smaller. That's all I had to do. I used my needle-nosed players to twist the...

Easy to install

Product was easy to install. Time will tell how good of quality it is.

Easy to install! Easy to change from vertical to horizontal orientation & easy to adjust to different face plates. Installed three of these, each with different configurations before my husband got home.

WE needed one with a GFI included-- so had to return this kind. Probably would have been fine

Lasted just until warranty expired

Used it a few times, mostly with electric hedge trimmer. Just after the year's warranty was up, it quit. Reset button won't stay in, no power to receptacle. Made in China, buyer beware. Very disappointed in Lowe's to sell such poor quality merchandise.

Works as advertised

I needed an outdoor power outlet for my backyard to go over my new siding. This kills two birds with one stone by giving me GFCI outlet and the cover so I don’t have to buy two separate items. Price difference would have only been a few dollars if I buy them separately but I liked the convenience of having both in one package.
