This metal cover was just what I needed to cover an outdoor outlet. However, I needed to file some casting flash out of one of the holes before I could install it.

Not for level-2 EVSE equipment

Frame does not allow large plug cords to exit out the bottom such as portable EVSE chargers like Telsa Mobile Connector.

What we needed

 Would Recommend

We needed a heavy duty plug cover that locked for electrical outlets on our front porch. This more than fit the bill. It’s a little cumbersome to install but not so much that you can’t do it. It just helps to have a couple of extra hands to hold box cover open while you tighten mounting screws.

Easy installation

 Would Recommend

The Instructions are complete. The product design allows for partial pull out of the screws holding the electrical device to the junction box. You line up the larger side of the cover holes with the partially protruding screws and slide it on. Hold the cover up and tighten the screws.
