Not bad if you can stand the smell

It does clean the dishes pretty well. I do rinse first and use Finish tabs. It does smell terrible however! I guess it's the plastic inside. I thought after a few washes it would go away. No, it's still smells like chemicals and plastic after about 2 months.

One button start

I have been using it for a few days and I am happy. Easy to operate, just one button start!

Plain and simple

My old dishwasher I had for 20 years went out I bought this one for a replacement I like it’s just plain and simple like my old one but it runs 2 hours my old one only took 45 minutes

Nice and quiet

I like the dishwasher fine, but it is a long cycle. It is quieter than my previous dishwasher, which I really like.

To long for a wash cycle

I just got this dishwasher from our Apt. from management, and it takes about 2.5 hours for the shortest wash cycle. It's only has one button for selection and dry cycle isn't very good at drying.

Basic but very good

The value of this dishwasher is very high. Was very affordable and has proven reliable and great at washing our dishes. No fancy features, but a great, solid, and good looking dishwasher.

CONDENSATION

Dishwasher has condensation after cycle is finished on all the walls. Called GE warranty for repairs twice and nothing can be done to fix the condensation. This is how dishwasher was designed. GE why would you do this?

Simple and easy

I like this DW because it’s easy to use and is ideal for people over age 65.

Does not work

not sure if this is an installation issue or what but i’ve only been able to get it to run once every other time I try nothing happens

Does what it’s supposed to do well

I am replacing a previous hot point dishwasher that I bought used, and then put another 12 years on it. Chose this model because of the hot point brand and especially one of the least expensive dishwashers on the market. Consumer reports also rated this dishwasher four out of five stars. The five stars were three times as expensive. Have only run the dishwasher so far three times but I am very happy with how clean and dry they come out. Great price but it leaks

One & Done

I recently purchased this unit and am so far super thrilled with the purchase. Originally we were concerned that it would be on the louder side, but we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is. The wash is very efficient lasting no more that two hours, during which the contents were thoroughly cleaned and dried.
