2 things -- 1 - In the dog poop can that holds dog poop bags for the week, it's VERY apparent this works to kill those that are trying to reproduce. I almost feel guilty. Lots of dead flies in there. (Can is emptied at LEAST once a week. Meanwhile, flies are proliferous, at least here.) 2 - I put this in outside main (large) trash can, secured so it doesn't get dumped out on garbage pickup day. If something stinks in the can enough to attract flies, it seems to kill them. I've not watched ...

Would RecommendI hung one of these in my kitchen three years ago because of nuisance flies and fleas and they were gone within a few days. Now they started to come back, so I simply replaced the Hot Shot, and they are gone again. It makes perfect sense that one of these would lose it's potency in three years. This product works!!!
