Great Product for the price

Easy to install, easy to set for operation. Took less than 10 minutes to install and put into operation

Wrong indoor temp setting by 8 degrees

The indoor temperature is -8 degrees lower that the real ambient temperature in the room. Using two other thermometers the honeywell was off by -8 degrees. Room temp was 80 degrees but Honeywell showed 72 degrees. Too much of a difference to be useful. I will be returning this for a refund.

Room temperature off by 6 degrees

There is no way to calibrate and the thermostat we have says it's 72 in our room, when it's actually 79 verified by numerous thermometers and infrared. Our old thermostat had a way to calibrate and also to tell it how many degrees above the set temperature before it came back on. Decent features otherwise, but the room temperature needs to be correct so I don't have to compensate for it constantly.

Broke after 14 months

Paid $100 service fee for an HVAC guy to come tell me it wasn't my 25 year old heat pump, but my 14 month old thermostat that was broken. Worked great while it lasted.

Good Product

This programmable thermostat replaced an onl slider thermostat for a rather old, but totally reliable, industrial heating/AC unit. Because the wiring was a bit different from the old wiring, it took a while to figure out, but once it was installed, it worked like a charm. The manual doesn't say how to manually turn it off and on, if so desired, but some button pushing on the thermostat yielded the answer. All in all a good product.

Good Value, easy to install, works great

As a fairly experienced DIY'er I finally decided it was time for one of these thermostats, i looked at the video on line then purchased one. When i removed my 'very old' unit i had no red wire, but a purple wire going to a red jumper. I hate to asseme any thing, but after calling the vendor support line 2 or 3 times and always getting 'we are experiencing high call volume, please call back later' i gave up and hooked the purple wire to the red wire terminal. Good Value

I wanted a simple, inexpensive programmable thermostat for our guest room that was easy for unfamiliar people to use. This fits the bill, as it was easy to program, and even easier for our guests to over ride when necessary...

Easy to Use!

Accurate readings from a quality trusted brand. Very easy to hook up, only four wires to connect. Don't pay someone to install, DIY!!!

Works Great

We were experiencing problems with our AC unit. Turns out it was the thermostat. Once it was replaced the unit has been working great. Thermostat was easy to install and program. Great product.

Doing good so far

I rated "Ease of use" at a 4 basically for the time it took to train others in the house, so it's not the thermostats fault. This has replaced the old 5-2 day unit well. The old one lost the display strength so it was hard to see. This new one is great.

Easy to install

I haven't had this long enough to know about durability but it installed quickly and easily and it's easier to program than my last thermostat. I do know how to rewire light switches so I was confident going into it that I'd be able to install this, but I had never replaced a thermostat - didn't matter, the instructions were super easy. I think it was less expensive that the one I replaced but this is easier to program so very happy with it.

Good product, but service/help needs work

Thermostat is good, but unless you're an electrician, if you have a heat pump ayou will most likely need their assistance. Honeywell support made a good effort, but ultimately had to call someone else for help with programming my system, mostly due to the problem with understanding the tech since English is definitely NOT their native language.
