[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mold armor deck wash works great. It is so convenient to be able to hook it up straight to the hose. You don’t have to mix solutions or find a sprayer. You just hook it to the hose and go. It cleans the deck of nicely with little effort.

The green jug or Mold Armor is the BEST!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Mold Armor on decks, siding, roof shingles, brick, concrete...you get the picture. This stuff is the BEST to clean surfaces. It is especially handy to connect to the end of a water hose and use it as a sorayer.

Works wonders

Useless

I purchased this product in the hose end sprayer version to clean my driveway. It has black stains (mold) that this product claims to remedy. First of all the instructions are horrible. There is a thumb slider that turns on the spray. Nowhere does it say the position controls the concentration. I pushed it all the way left and got about 90 SF of coverage rather than the 900 SF listed on the label. Even at this highly concentrated mix, it did absolutely nothing to clean my drive. Works great if you use a pressure washer to rinse

My deck hasn't been cleaned in 2 years and the sealer I put on it 2 years ago was in very poor condition. When I used the built in nozzle to rinse the deck, none of the crud came off. However, rinsing with a pressure washer made the deck look like new! 4 stars because you really need to use this with a pressure washer to get a good clean deck. It did nothing when rinsed with the built in nozzle.

my review of 6 deck cleaners

This year I was determined to test different cleaners and here is my summary and ratings 1 thru 100 (best). All tests per vendor recommendations. A pressure washer used for all these tests. note none of these are strippers just cleaners. Each section tested was about 8 ft x 12 ft. Active ingredient at just 4-5% of volume is sodium hypochlorite. That's bleach everyone:-) A $10 bottle of bleach:-\

Average at best

Picked up two bottles of this product. The bottles both state new easy spray selector. After getting the bottles home I realized that the fixture allowing you to adjust the spray pattern was not on any of the bottles. I then went back to the store and found that every bottle on the display was also missing the spray adjustment. The bottle will only spray in what i would loosely describe as "jet". Incredible experience

I had large fabric awnings professionally power washed with no luck. So I decided to this a shot. For $18 I got better results than the pros

Totally Ineffective

I used this exactly as directed and it did NOTHING to take off the green mildew on the wooden fence. I will not be wasting my money for the suggested 2nd round of application. Don’t waste your money on this.

Does Not Clean

This was a waste of money. I used this on a 400 sf deck and covered about half. Black mildew is still present. I would not recommend.

Didn't do anything

Followed the instructions and attempted to clean a very dirty deck. First issue, the coverage was not even close to the 1200 sq. ft indicated on the bottle, less than half of that. Used a pressure washer after letting the product sit for 10 to 15 minutes. I expect to see a noticeable difference, the deck doesn't even look like it was washed. I'll be back on line looking for a product that works

Did not have good results

Typically I use TSP and a scrub brush, but thought this might save time and my knees. I read the directions 2x and then used the product. After rinsing I could see no noticeable difference. As I was rinsing I didn't even see dirt wash away and the mold/mildew was still present. I re-read the directions to make sure I followed them correctly and I had followed them as directed. Others seem to have a good experience with this product, so not sure what caused it to not work well for me.

product worked well. (note) spray area down with water first then apply product ,then let sit about 5 min then wash off I used a pressure washer results turned out nice.

What a surprise

I read about this product and ran to Lowes to purchase it. This was unbelievable and yes it was! It just plain did not work. The applicator was good but this did not clean my deck at all. It made it easier to clean but that is about it. I am so disappointed.

Best mold and mildew product I’ve used

It’s bleach free and does it’s job. I’ve tried other products and some have fine print to add bleach and still don’t work are well
