Threaded Rod to substitute for specialized stud
Would RecommendThe Delta kitchen faucet purchased from Lowe's had the remote handle to counter clamp rust out. The clamp itself rusted out completely which welded through corrosion the clamp nut to the stud. Despite soaking it in PB Blaster the stud came out of the handle. By retaping the 1/4 inch x 1/2 deep hole to the same 1/4-20 as the stud, the threaded allowed the completion of the repair
