Easy-peasy, just as expected: When you have a nice new home or a bride raised on HD TV and lack all the years of junk drawers and miscellaneous boxes around the house, a variety pack like this is perfect to have just the shelf pin that was lost in the last decluttering event!

I bought the pack simply because I needed a few of the contents specifically. I didn't know the size I needed for a single pin. I can't really imagine what house has all these various pins, but if that is you, then you should get this. Otherwise go for the packs of the same items, but make sure you know the pin size you need!

Miscellaneous brackets

I wasn't sure what size bracket I needed, so this pack worked great.

Not ideal-satisfactory. One size doesn’t fit all.

Not much variety to choose from. More plastic than metal. I wanted longer-peg ends and wider platform ends. There was a package that had a variety of styles that could be purchased together. I was able to purchase something that worked but not what I needed.
