What Customers Are Saying
The springs are generally easy to install and suitable for various applications like recliners, screen doors, and gate latches. Many customers found the size and strength to be appropriate for their needs. However, some noted the springs can break or wear out relatively quickly, requiring replacement every few months. The ends were also sometimes difficult to hook onto the intended application. Overall, the springs provide good functionality, though their durability may be a concern for some users.

Would Not RecommendI purchase these springs about every three months for my recliner chair. They last about three months before the end brakes and need to be replaced.

Would RecommendI recently received a 20 ton hydraulic press. Problem here is that one of the extension springs that are used to reset the hydraulic press after releasing the pressure had escaped from the shipping box. Tried surfing the internet forums for possible replacements. Some had recommended using a spring from a 80's car hood. I didn't want to make the trip to the scrap yard. Others said to try using trampoline springs, I did, they didn't work. Then on one of my visits to Lowe's, I saw these....
