perfect for my needs

I just moved to a small apartment so kitchen space is at a premium. This set is great. I get all my essential knives including the steak knives without taking up too much space. The handles are super comfortable to hold. I also love the dark colored block. Most block sets are wood toned which dont fit in with my modern asthetic.

Perfect Kitchen Set

These knives are comfortable in my hand, and they have kept their sharp edge these past 9 months probably due to using the honing steel every day. Every type of knife you need and steak knives too!!! It's a great value for a forged knife.

Unique Design

I really like the blank and steel combination on the handle. It’s a unique design that makes these knives stand out from any others that I’ve seen. The set include all the knives that you would need for every day cooking, including 6 steak knives and shears. It’s a really good value for such a unique set.

Good basics

This is a set to grow with. It has really good basic cooking knives - the 8-inch chef's and the 7-inch santoku being two of the best all purposes knives ever, and the paring and utility for smaller tasks. The block comes with open slots for room to add a bread knife or other specialty knife in the future. But with these kitchen knives a set of 6 steak knives, this is a very good value. Looks sleek and modern on my kitchen counter! I love all the knives included in this block and use them daily. These knives are sharp and the do retain their sharpness for longer periods of time. Whenever I feel that one of the knives is not gliding through when slicing, I use the honing steel that comes with the block, to get the little burrs out. Great added value!

Beautiful modern look

I love the combination of the black and silver on the handle of these knives. The black part of the handle is super comfortable and makes it so that I have a good, stable grip on the knife. I love that this set comes with ever knife I will need and I love the kitchen scissors that are included.

this is a good set of knives at a great price. The black painted block works great in my kitchen. I like that this set has a santoku knife as i use that more than the chef at this point. The handles are comfortable and substantial. Steak knives are an added bonus!

Great knives in this set

This set is a nice looking modern set. I love the color of the block itself. Love that you get the chef and santoku knives, along with a honing steel and shears! That is a great value.

Good Value

These forged knives are made of German steel so they will hold there edge very well. The handle has a non slip surface and are riveted which is true to the traditional German knives. The set has all the knives I need for daily chopping tasks and steak knives.

Perfect combination of 8" Chef & 7" Santoku in it!

These block set of knife is beautifully made and exceptional design. Chef knife and Santoku knife combined in 1 block are a no brainer. It's certainly a versatile and economical kitchen knife set nowadays, These amount of knife in your block are is reasonably a standard amount to have for every cook and a steak set is a plus. Forged knife are durable and could stand rusting and corrosion. It is so sharp to go through any meat, vegetable, herb, or fruits.

Two tone look

I love the two tone look of this set. I also like that it comes with 4 steak knives. This has been a good everyday value set . I use the shears all the time!! I like that they are in the first slot!!

Like the look

I like the look of this knife block set. With the black and stainless steel it has a nice aesthetic on any modern countertop. It comes with a lot of great knives and steak knives, the only thing I wish it had was a bread knife in the set.
