Great knife set

Incredible set of knives!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Literally the best knives I have ever owned. I've never invested in good knvies but these are definitely worth the price. They are very sharp, shiny, and you can feel the quality. The 5" Santoku knife is by far my favorite. It is a lot smaller than I thought but so versatile and feels great in your hands. Would definitely buy again!

Great Small Set

A great small set for the price. The forged blades are very sharp. The handels are very comfortable. This set gives me all my essential kitchen knives but leaves more room in the block to grow my connection. I really like the santoku knife that comes in the set. It is great for all of my vegetable chopping.

Good forged knives

These knives are forged from German steel which means they are going to hold their edge really well. The three rivet handle design is thicker, very comfortable, and will be very durable. It's a great set that contains your essential knives include a favorite of many, the serrrated utility. It is perfect for anything that is hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Think oranges, tomatoes or a package of sausage. It also has a 5" santoku which is a great chopping knife.

This set is a good value and has all the qualities of a German made knife, even though it is not made there. I appreciate that it is German Steel so guess that's why it is so durable. Good assortment for the price.

This is a great starter block set - price is right and so are the knives! You will use most of these daily. the shears and honing steel are handy to have and not have to buy spearately later. All in all - a great gift or set for a first apartment or home.

Zwilling does a great job of competing in the value cutlery market. The Henckels International knife lines are always a cut above the competition. This block set is no exception. Handsome knives in a modern looking, compact block that feel good in the hand, are very sharp and has every knife you could ever need.

I gave this set to a friend who had a daughter moving away from home for the first time. German steel and riveted handle, so it is going to stand up to that learning curve of getting familiar with using a good knife. I picked this block for the knives that are included, knowing that whatever job tasked with, there is a knife in this block to do it

Premio Preferred

Knives in the boyfriend's kitchen weren't cutting it. Happily he upgraded to this Premio forged knife. Great weight and curved handle won him over. We have a keeper!!

More than the value for it's durability!

Add this to your graduate student wish list. Perfect for a studio apartment and there's room for future addition to these knife set. A knife that has all the essential for young cook in the family and will last them for awhile.

Room to grow with this set. I like the addition of the santoku in this set. It's an excellent variety with additional space in the block to grow your collection.

Great compact set! It has all the knives that every chef says you need, plus this block has empty spots so you can customize it to your cooking needs.

What a Value

This set is perfect for a vacation home. Its made from German Steel and has a forged (extra strong) bolster (where the blade meets the handle). It includes all the knives you need in a kitchen and won't break the bank.

excellent price for a forged set

Henckels has a nice forged set here. You get an 8" chef and a 5" santoku, both great for chopping. The footprint of the block is a little smaller so it doesn't take up as much valuable counter space.

If you have limited space on your kitchen counters, this compact block is ideal. Get only the knives you really need with the honing steel included in order to maintain the edge and angle of your Forged Premio knives. Expertly weighted and balanced, the FP handles are comfortable and the blades stay sharp for a long time.
