Ceiling fan light switch.
Would RecommendEasy to use and hook up. Just remember to buy connectors with this item which come separate. If your unsure how to connect the new one, just look at which end is connected to the wires your your disconnecting.

Itβs a light switch!
Would Not RecommendThe lights in my ceiling fan quit turning on when I pulled the chain. I took it off the fan (1 nut), unplugged it and looked inside. There was a switch with 2 wires connected with wire nuts. Took it to Lowes and found the identical part (note whether you have brass or black chain, the wrong one looks bad). I went home and disconnected the 2 wires on the old switch, connected the new one, reversed everything I did to get it down and voila, pulling the switch causes the light to turn off and on. $...
