We bought the original lights at Lowe's and had to wait a year to obtain replacement bulbs and thanks to a young man that was thinking like me, he found a torn box of a smaller string of lights with a good supply of "replacement lights" that he discounted.

Good set of lights and easy to install.
Would RecommendI purchased the 96-foot string and a 12-foot string of outdoor lights that plug into a 110v outlet. Nice, gentle glow. The cord seems to be relatively durable. The bulb thickness seems to be sufficient to stand up to the occasional 40+ mph winds that blow where I live.

Didn't work out of the box
Would Not RecommendBought three of these. None of them would turn on with power. Taking them back. It was a big waste of my time.
Cheap fuses blow constantly.
Would Not RecommendThe fuses that are in the plug end of the string will blow out at almost nothing. As another reviewer stated, they will go even after you change or adjust one of the bulbs. I even checked the outlet I was using to see if there was a problem, and sure enough, there wasn't anything wrong on that end. I connected two strings together and both fuses blew immediately, then I changed them with the spare that is included, and one after another, the fuses blew again as I tried to adjust non-working ligh...

Make sure all bulbs screw in before installing.
Would Not RecommendOne of the sockets was deformed and could not screw a bulb in. Luckily it was the end of the strand and I did not need it.
