What Customers Are Saying
The landscape lighting connectors received mixed reviews. Many customers found them easy to use and reliable for connecting 12-14 gauge wires. However, a significant number reported issues with 16 gauge or smaller wires, struggling to get the connectors to properly grip the wires, leading to unreliable connections. Some also complained about the connectors not being water-resistant and failing within a year. Overall, the connectors work well for some applications but have limitations, especially for thinner gauge wires, and may not be worth the cost for all users.

Would RecommendWe have been installing low voltage lights in our landscaping company for years and have never found an easier connector to use than this one.
Connectors do not work
Would Not RecommendThese connectors are not for universal application. They do not work with popular Malibu brand low voltage fixtures because the connector is designed for thick cable and fixture wires. The contacts are short and and stubby and do not pierce through the insulation enough to contact the copper wire. Neither the cable nor fixture wire fit snuggly into the wire grooves.
Did not work for me
Would Not RecommendI bought these to replace 2 flimsy connectors that came with a Portfolio light. This product is very sturdy. But, I could not get these to make the connection with my 12 AWG cable. The spikes are too short. I tried removing some plastic from the cable, but still no luck. I purchased the simple Mailbu connectors from another store. They did the job.
