Would Not RecommendThis was another impulse buy. My apartment had the ceiling fan and light on the same switch. I didn't want to pull chains to turn on or off. This is a very basic remote control. You're not going to be able to change the fan speed and will have to use the chain to do so. Installation guide was adequate. Would Not Recommend, even after a Lowes employee said it would. The instructions say to put the receiver inside of the cup that holds the fan to the ceiling, but it does not fit.
