Great Replacement Lights

We have used these LED lights in other rooms in our house and we were waiting until we had used all of our incandescent bulbs before getting these. The process of replacement is super easy and the lights function perfectly. They have several settings for how warm you want them to be. They also create a seal in the high hat and help with energy efficiency that way too.

Trim ring is smaller than most replacements

These light provide decent lighting and you can adjust the color temp. I wish they had provided both clip and bracket mounts. The clips are had to the light flush to ceiling. The trim ring is a bit smaller than other lights we have purchased.

Before snapping in place, adjust the warmth.

Good Dimming Performance

When I started installing dimmer switches on my home, I noticed its down lamps had an audible hum, which was quite loud in low ceiling rooms. These don't have that problem. No issues with flicker or cutout on low settings either.

Small tab setting measures bigger than 5”

There are adjustable tabs to switch between 5” and 6”, but it measures at a little over 5”. I had to modify the cans by drilling a closer hole so these would fit inside 5” cans. The bracket is stainless steel so make sure to drill at slow speed with oil. It took a few bits to figure that one out!

Halo Light is a Good Replacement

Halo light is a good replacement for our some of our lights that had started going out. We weren't able to find the exact lights used in our house so we tried these at the recommendation of a Lowe's employee and they work great and easy to install
