Great easy shock

I shock the pool after large parties and at the beginning and end of the season and the HTH shock is so easy to use and measure out. I assume it works as the pool always looks super clean - but I like this shock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to shock my pool weekly. Also because my water was starting to cloud up a little bit. This pool shock helped my water start clearing up in just a few hours with the pump running. Checked the levels with my test kit next day and everything is right where it should be. I am happy i got it.

Pool essential

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went 2 summers without using shock. That was a terrible decision. The amount of time and energy spent on trying to vacuum, brush, and filter the pool was excessive. This shock works wonders. I used 1 treatment per week, and our pool has been clear all summer.

Does the trick!

HTH Pool Shock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this six pound bag of Pool Shock made by HTH. I have a salt water pool so I only need to add this shock when I open the pool for the season. It does a nice job of preventing the growth of bacteria and algae.

Start of with shock advance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here is one name brand that I have the utmost confidence in. It always works as it should. I am never concerned if what I am doing is going to work when using HTH. Shock advance is a must. Save yourself some trouble by starting off using shock advance. It will work the way it should every time.

HTH Pool Care Shock Treatment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my honest review of HTH Pool Care Shock Ultra. We used this Shock treatment to Increase and level out the chlorine in our pool. It's very easy to use and works great! We use this product every year and our pool stays crystal clear!

Never fails!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HTH Shock Advanced is my go-to for my pool shock. I have a 24 ft round above ground pool, and keeping it sparkling is essential. The Advanced Shock helps out much more than regular shock. It is great for weekly treatment and also after much heavy rain. I put the amount that my pool requires into the skimmer and within several hours, my pool is fantastic looking. My pool is surrounded by trees, so there is quite a bit that gets into my pool...

Recommend for algae buildup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really easy to use, instructions are very clear on the packaging. I was noticing some algae buildup on my hot tub and have used this treatment twice. The algae has disappeared and I feel like my hot tub is looking refreshed and much cleaner!

I use the Poole shock care kit to help neutralize the cloudy water and the other products to balance alkalinity, ph, chlorine, etc. This is a great and trusted company for pool care needs!

Great shock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone with pool needs shock. We do ours every other week. It works perfectly and leave the pool balanced unlike some other shocks I have used in the past. If you maintain proper balance, you use less chemicals. It also helps if you make everyone wear real spandex type swimsuits and rinse before entering. Crystal clear water isn’t by accident.

Good shock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We keep our pool pretty clean. We have a weekly service that comes and I maintain it in-between. When I had to shock it this worked great. It cleared up the little green hue that was present in a couple of hours. Would recommend.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite brand of pool shock. I was having trouble getting the water exactly the way I wanted. I decided to try a different brand of product. After using HTH I will never use anything else. After a couple of uses my water cleared and the little bit of algae was gone. I bragged to a friend about this amazing shock. She tried it and loved it as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have an above ground pool and the filter isn't as strong as a inground pool so after a summer of swimming and sun block and environmental reasons our pool turned green. Yuck! After using the HTH Pool Care Shock Advanced we were able to get the pool clear again after some additional vacuuming. We were so happy to not have to waste all of that water and start over again. This is a must have for all pool owners!

First things first!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I open up the pool for the first time in the season, I definitely use shock. My pool is quite big, but it is so nice that this comes in smaller packages and not a big tub of shock to have to store. I used this shock on my pool that had algae. Our cover had a lot of rain water that tad poles grew up in. Some of that water was in the pool, so we needed to shock the water. This did the trick! All cleaned up in a short amount of time.

HTH pool shock

Worst product ever. Wouldn't dissolve and our pool kept getting yellow with dark spots on the bottom of the pool. Took our filter apart and it had clogged the filter there was so much in there it took about an hour to rinse the filters off. Will never buy this again.

My favorite for my pool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love HTH brand, it's my favorite, as it works great. I have a big above ground pool and use the Super Shock Treatment to help clear the water and if any green algae starts building up. Put the treatment in the pool and within hours is crystal clear. Only thing is, be careful when opening it up, sometimes if the powder comes out, like say in a breeze or in the house, you can taste it.
