Cutting the rolls with a utility knife is difficult, scissors will work best. I was installing in light wind and surprisingly they stayed in place pretty well. Walking on the dry fabric I was unsure if it would stay on the ground so I used landscape pins to hold them in place as the wind picked up, I overlapped the areas and everything looked good. I then watered with a garden hose...

Would RecommendThe grass started growing around the 10th day. Putting dirt on the seams is important. If you don't and the wind blows before the growth starts, the strips will blow away.

I laid it 6 days ago, watering it 3 times a day as instructed, and grass has already sprouted and is getting taller by the day. It is in full sun all day and doing great.

I HAVE GRASS NOW!
Would RecommendI had trouble getting grass to grow in a shady place in the back of our home. The Shady version of GrowTrax did the trick. I have grass!! The key seems to be keeping the product watered as stated in the instructions.
