A Good Step Up

I went from a 115v 2hp machine that would leak dust like crazy and sometimes draw too many amps to this. I prefer my shop tools to be 220. It's a bit louder than my previous, but not noticeable when wearing ear protection. Its impeller inlet is 6" which is good if you want to install a metal or PVC duct system. Only have the smallest of complaints, which is that they didn't ship all the hardware I needed to put it together. Not a disaster, just had to find some machine bolts.

Excellent product

This has improved my shop's general condition . After using band saws, jointers, and other tools, I no longer have to spend time cleaning up debris from Heavy machine usage. The shop vac, I used to ineffectively use, can now be used for what it was meant to be used for.

Fantastic find Not what I thought regarding electrical needs I thought it was 110 but it's 220 and I swear I ordered 110 Oh well, electricians need the work

Very Efficient Dust Collector

This replaced my older model King dust collector which was not CSA approved, which was needed for insurance purposes. Much more suction and with the filtering system there way less dust in the air.

First dust collector, seems good and strong.

First dust collector purchase of my life, so nothing really to compare, but pulls the dust well from my planer and Table Saw(only thing I have right now). You will want to pair this with a cyclone to keep the filter clean and make the bag which is no fun to change not fill up. I used a 4" Super Dust Deputy and it is working like a champ. Came delivered with the inlet ring bent a little, but it was easily straightened by hand.

Love my new vacuum system

Very powerful unit. This is my first vacuum system and for the first time my shop is staying clean. No more piles of sawdust or fine particles in the air.

Works great

I bought this about a month ago for my small shop and it is the perfect size and works fine. Some of the metal chases were damaged in shipment and had to be replaced but Grizzly took care of me in a timely fashion. I had one problem with assembly. The filter that sets on top would not slip on and seemed too tight but I applied a small amount of slip it on the surface of the gasket and it slid on.

This machine sucks!

Great suction. Replaced a 650 cfm unit and such an improvement. Machine arrived in good condition even though the styrofoam packaging disintegrated during the unpacking.

Works great but...

I bought the 2HP canister dust collector. It arrived in great shipped condition. When assembling though, I discovered that the motor frame was attached way off verses the holes in the base. I finagled it and got 3 out of 4 holes to line up. Marked the fourth, drilled and bolted it to the base. The rest of it did not quite line up though. I left it all pretty loose and then carefully bolted it all up. It looks a little bit wonky but it collects dust like a champ. Ran it with my new Grizzly jointe...

So nice to have!

Just retired and am looking forward to much more shop time. This helps me enjoy my tools without the dust and cleanup. Also bought a Grizzly air filter so I feel almost healthy! Used #40 PVC for piping. Made all the Grizzly gates and connectors, hoses, etc. work with only a little effort.

This works great, I just really like it. Saves a lot of mee.

Excellent Value

Excellent machine. Plenty of power at an affordable price. It also has a small physical footprint making it perfect for most small shops. The canister filter is really well made and the easy cleaning feature is very effective. I definitely recommend this product.

Im just getting this set up but so far I like everything about it. It will be a permanent installation so the ducting and making blast gates etc is taking some time. I think if I had assembled it as packaged it could have been up and running in 30 to 40 minutes. It takes longer to break down the packing for disposal. Very well packed and arrived in perfect condition.

Not to loud. Easy assembly. 3 4 inch ports works great on all my machines. Small footprint and easy to move

Good so far

I purchased a month ago. It arrived undamaged. I was really impressed how well it was packed for shipment. Lots of heavy cardboard and well shaped styrofoam to protect it. I havent used it much yet but it seems to work fine. Plenty of vacuum. Noise level was less than I expected. Pleased so far with my purchase.
