Just got about 3 weeks ago the packing was good only thing was vent pipe coming in was dented but i could push out dents. works good but ad on saw dust collector was a DB rating was from 83-85. But running collector and using app off phone for DB was 90-91 which is 1.5 to 2 times louder than 85. I built box around saw dust collector with 11/16 plywood and 1 inch sound proofing foam got DB down to 80-81. I don't know how accurate phone DB is. Thank You Keith Lorenz

Great suction
Would RecommendThis is a replacement for the G8027 that had to be moved from machine to machine. The packaging was excellent and only one hole had to be filed out for assembly.

Would RecommendOverall a great unit. Good suction and air volume: draws enough to service my tablesaw, planer, jointer, and bandsaw in a 400 square foot shop. The upper filter works well and the cleaning handle does as advertised to keep it from clogging up. The lower bags aren't very easy to re-install, so you have to slow down and know it will take a few minutes to get it back on. This machine is insanely loud. Great machine
Piped this dust collector into my main line which is about 40' in length. Primary trunk is 6", offshoots are 4" all solid metal. The unit can still pull material from jointer at max depth which is at the end of the line. The old system couldn't get it evacuated when directly piped to it. Great unit as the primary dust collector for my professional shop. Great value and power. Great cfm, suction and velocity that has really helped me improve in the shop.
