Would RecommendDid the trick for my new fence. I predrilled the holes about 2 1/3 inches and these went in like a dream. Less thsn two inches not so much, but even after that these screws keep their threads so I could screw them out and then back in again. I still have a lot left, but I'd buy more if and when I run out.

Would RecommendThey go into 2x4 easily and you can control the speed of insertion so as to stop before over-driving. The only improvement would be the ease of starting the screw; it takes quite a few rotations to grip the wood. That is a minor want. Overall, I am pleased with them and will buy again.
