What Customers Are Saying
The deck screws are praised for their excellent performance and quality. The star-drive or Torx-style head design provides a secure, non-slip grip that prevents stripping or camming out, even when driving the screws at different angles. The self-drilling tip allows the screws to easily penetrate and thread into the wood without the need for pre-drilling. The polymer coating provides good rust resistance, making the screws suitable for outdoor use. Customers report the screws hold firmly, do not back out, and provide a strong, durable connection, even in pressure-treated lumber.

Cant ask for more.
Would RecommendThe heads don't strip, they don't eat driver bits, they don't shear off, and they hold well. Can't ask for more than that.

Needs redesigned
Would Not RecommendThread pitch not deep enough. They will not countersink their self. I used them building 2x4 frame shelving for garage. The threads are not deep enough, they strip out before pulling tight.

worked great for me
I don't know why some have had issues with these screws. I have gone through several 5 lb boxes of several sizes with zero problems to build privacy fences... And like them a lot.. Maybe some are not using the right size for the application... I noticed trying to use a 1 5/8" for 3/4" pickets didn't hold that well... switched to 2" and worked flawlessly and held strong.. being in stock for certain sizes seems to be the biggest problem...
Design change ?
Would Not RecommendI like the torx head design on deck screws . I have used these in the past and the first thing I thought was oh good they have more anti rust stuff on them now.. Then I had a bunch of them not pull the head slightly below the surface . I backed it out and tried again , same thing. I went to my shop and found some of the old thread design. They worked great. this new design needs work !
Garbage
Would Not RecommendLike others, these screws are garbage. Installed these screws in a couple locations with fresh 2x4s treated into fresh treated 4x4s. The screws couldnt even hold the two pieces of lumber together. I was blown away and upset. Tried multiple locations and same result, i could literally pull the 2x4 off the post with 2 screws sunk! Returned and got some good ole fashion screws so i can move on with my day.
And this is better how?
Would Not RecommendNew version of these screws are just horrible. Almost unusable. 75% never pull tight. There’s not enough thread depth compared to the older screws.
Sucks
Would Not RecommendI hope i never have to use these screws again. Im using 3 inch and 1-1/4 inch screws and they suck. They will not bury the head at all. They start stripping before it will drive through! Poor poor design!
